Grade 1-9 Math Acceleration
Students from Grades 1-9 have the opportunity to become accelerated in math. Synchronized time-tabling allows for math to be delivered at the same time across the elementary grades and allows for ability grouping to occur. Students who are accelerated move into the class where all students are working at a similar level.
Students who are accelerated beyond Grade 9 math have their credits earned through Alberta Distance Learning.

Restitution Self Discipline
Our school's behavior management and student code of conduct are based on an approach called Restitution Self Discipline (RSD). Developed by Diane Chelsom Gossen, RSD is a classroom management model based on Dr. William Glasser's concepts of Control Theory. RSD has been a positive and effective way to work with gifted youth.
The following documents are excerpts that have been included in recent newsletters. They help explain some of the key concepts and processes behind RSD. More issues will be puiblished as the newsletters are published.
